The Plainville Fire Department is happy to announce that we are participating in a program set up through Sturdy Memorial Hospital to help collect "sharps" (used syringes) in the safest manner.
Please feel free to bring your contained sharps to the Fire Department. A representative from Steri-Cyle will then pick up them up and see that they are disposed of properly. You can use any type of sturdy container to store the sharps, i.e. old laundry detergent bottles, coffee cans, plastic soda bottles, etc..
